Our adjustable bases work great under a Ziwi mattress, and using an adjustable base does not impact the trial period or warranty. Our mattresses are built with sufficient flexibility for the mattress to conform with the moving components of an adjustable base. Adjustable bases with a massage feature will still work on Ziwi beds, but the ZiPP technology will dampen the amount of vibration massage that passes through it.

Sometimes. Snoring and sleep apnea are often caused by a slacking or sagging in the back of the throat during sleep. Elevating the head can reduce this slacking, but typically only enough to relieve mild cases. If you or your partner is snoring excessively or gasping for air sporadically throughout the night, please consult a doctor or sleep specialist for advice.

Yes, our bases are designed to function with minimal clearance requirements. When storing things, we recommend that you leave two to three inches of space between the top of your stored items and the bottom of the base.

In most cases, yes. Our bases
are designed to stand within a normal bed frame. Just remove any crossbars or slats so the legs of the base can touch the floor. Our adjustable bases will also function on a platform frame. In this instance, the adjustable base can sit directly on the platform as long as you remove the base’s legs.
