I read about Ziwi's new "Zip" design online and decided to give it a try. I kid you not, I fall asleep quicker and stay asleep the whole night. Also, it doesn't smell like a chemistry lab accident when you first open it the way my old memory foam mattress did. Ziwi is a truly great mattress, and very affordable. I'll update my review in few months (we got a cheap mattress on amazon a while ago when living temporarily in NYC, and it was garbage after 3 months), to better describe it's long-term properties.

For years shoulder and hip pain has caused me serious sleep problems. Usually shoulder pain would wake me up at least 5 to 6 times a night and I would have to roll over to the other shoulder. Someone told me about Ziwi mattresses and said they loved theirs, so I thought I'd give it a try. WOW!! What a difference! My first night on my Ziwi was the first night in years I slept without waking up through the whole night with shoulder pain. I was amazed. In the 3 weeks since, I am still having 95% less pain on the Ziwi mattress. I can't say enough about this mattress. It has changed the way I sleep, I feel healthier, I have more energy, and my thinking is clearer. Thank you Ziwi!

I really like the new mattress! When it came out of the box I was worried it was going to be too soft and is thinner than the traditional mattress I replaced. I'm 6'3" 215 lbs and need a pretty firm mattress. When you lay on it, it feels plenty firm and I was almost worried it would be too firm. Slept on it for a couple nights and no pressure points. Firm, but not too firm. Goldilocks mattress! It does say that it is a "cooling mattress", but I didn't notice much difference. It might be because I have a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on it. It is no hotter than my last mattress, but I didn't notice that it was much cooler either.

I’ve been using a king size Ziwi mattress for about a week now and am super impressed. This mattress is surprisingly supportive while being soft and comfortable. I was initially concerned that maybe this mattress would be less comfortable than my last mattress since it isn’t as thick, but this mattress is so much better than the one I had before. The technology used in the mattress allows the mattress to really provide great support while allowing the mattress to contour to your body. With my previous mattress, I couldn’t lay on my back at all without a pillow or two under my knees due to chronic lumbar pain. This mattress allows me to sleep comfortably on my side or my back. So far; I love it! I’ll update the review in a few months.
